Historique
Si un moulin est attesté au 15e siècle à Montfleur, lexistence du moulin de Pont des Vents nest réellement assurée quen 1750, et ce dernier est réaménagé en 1762-1764. Il est le plus important des trois moulins de la commune en 1822. Les deux bâtiments situés de part et dautre du canal sont réunis en 1859 et les roues hydrauliques remplacées par des turbines Francis. Lactivité de battage et de meunerie a perduré jusquen 1975. Le moulin conserve ses installations : turbines, beffroi, quatre paires de meules (dont une démontée) , trieur et appareil de blutage. Il illustre cette famille de petits moulins ruraux, à larchitecture traditionnelle, nayant pas connu la modernisation leur permettant daccéder au stade de minoterie.

History
While a mill is attested in the 15th century at Montfleur, the existence of the mill of Pont des Vents is only really assured from 1750, and the latter was re-arranged in 1762-1764. It was the most important of the three mills of the commune in 1822. The two buildings situated on either side of the canal were joined in 1859 and the water wheels replaced by Francis turbines. Threshing and milling activity lasted until 1975. The mill retains its installations: turbines, belfry, four pairs of millstones (one of which is dismantled), sifter and bolting apparatus. It illustrates this family of small rural mills, with traditional architecture, which did not experience the modernisation that would have enabled them to reach the stage of milling establishment.
