L'église fait partie d'un ensemble prioral bâti sur un emplacement d'occupation gallo-romaine. Mentionnée dès le 10ème siècle, la nef et le clocher datent du 12ème siècle et le choeur, du 16ème siècle. Les peintures murales du 15ème siècle conservées dans les chapelles nord, sur le mur sud de la nef sont d'une grande qualité, surtout celles mises au jour dans la chapelle du seigneur de Revel : les personnages en procession, surmontés par l'Assomption de la Vierge, la Crucifixion, saint Marc sur l'un des voûtains retiennent particulièrement l'attention. L'église fut priorale jusqu'au 18ème siècle, période à laquelle le logis du prieur fait l'objet d'un remaniement complet.

History
The church is part of a priory ensemble built on a site of Gallo-Roman occupation. Mentioned from the 10th century, the nave and bell tower date from the 12th century and the choir, from the 16th century. The wall paintings of the 15th century preserved in the north chapels, on the south wall of the nave are of great quality, especially those brought to light in the chapel of the lord of Revel: the figures in procession, surmounted by the Assumption of the Virgin, the Crucifixion, saint Mark on one of the vaults particularly hold the attention. The church was priory until the 18th century, a period during which the house of the prior undergoes complete alteration.
