Historique
La partie centrale du château a été reconstruite à la fin du 15e siècle. History
The central part of the castle was rebuilt in the late 15th century. This main dwelling, served by a polygonal staircase tower, was extended during the second third of the following century by two transverse wings giving it an H-shaped plan. The openings of the central body present flamboyant decoration, as do the cross-windows and half cross-windows of the transverse wings. The interior decoration, facades and roofing were restored and modified in the early 20th century. The great hall on the upper storey preserves an ensemble of murals dating from around 1925, works by the painter Raphaël Delorme. The panels evoke life at the end of the Renaissance within the setting of the castle. The domain has preserved intact the arrangements of the landscape architect Louis Decorges.
