Quartier créé en 1872 par les frères Bühler, sur d'anciens potagers. Le ruisseau de l'archevêque est canalisé pour traverser le terrain d'est en ouest, longeant une île plantée de cyprès chauves. History
Quarter created in 1872 by the Bühler brothers, on former market gardens. The stream of the archbishop is channelled to cross the terrain from east to west, running alongside an island planted with bald cypress. A wide winding avenue circles the garden. The Bühler brothers were specialised in the introduction of exotic plants, some elements of which compose the garden: ginkgo biloba, red oak of America or cedar. Eugène Bühler continued to follow the evolution of the garden, modifying certain plantings for example in 1884. Later, the garden was enriched with ornamental buildings and works of art.
