La construction de léglise, oeuvre dArthur Regnault, débute en 1888 et sachève, pour lessentiel, en 1891. La partie supérieure du clocher ne sera terminée quen 1938. Cet édifice, de style roman-bysantin, sorganise autour dun volume central de plan centré abritant une vaste nef, précédé dun massif antérieur formant narthex et prolongé dun choeur à chevet arrondi. Lensemble est dominé par un clocher carré surmonté dune flèche pyramidale. Outre un espace intérieur de grande qualité, structuré autour des quatre arcs brisés monumentaux de la nef et éclairé par de nombreuses baies, plusieurs éléments mobiliers dun grand intérêt (autels en marbre polychrome, chaire) complètent le programme de cette église.

History
The construction of the church, work of Arthur Regnault, begins in 1888 and is concluded, for the most part, in 1891. The upper part of the bell tower is not completed until 1938. This building, in Roman-Byzantine style, is organised around a central volume of centred plan housing a vast nave, preceded by a front mass forming a narthex and prolonged by a choir with rounded chevet. The whole is dominated by a square bell tower surmounted by a pyramidal spire. Beyond an interior space of great quality, structured around the four monumental pointed arches of the nave and lit by numerous openings, several moveable elements of great interest (altars in polychrome marble, pulpit) complete the programme of this church.
