Edifiée en 1893 par larchitecte Alexandre Angier pour le couturier parisien Emile Poussineau, la villa domine un relief abrupt où sétage un jardin dagrémént descendant jusquà la mer et ceint de puissants murs de clôture. Cette demeure, de style néo-Louis XIII, juxtapose plusieurs corps de bâtiments dont une tourelle carrée couverte dune haute toiture en pavillon. Très peu modifiée depuis lorigine, cette maison est représentative des belles et grandes villas qui succèdent aux premières implantations anglaises des années 1850-60 contribuant fortement à la renommée de la station.

History
Built in 1893 by architect Alexandre Angier for Parisian couturier Emile Poussineau, the villa dominates a steep slope where a pleasure garden descends in tiers down to the sea and is surrounded by powerful boundary walls. This residence, in Neo-Louis XIII style, combines several building blocks including a square turret covered with a high pavilion roof. Very little modified since its origins, this house is representative of the fine large villas that succeeded the first English establishments of the 1850-60s, contributing greatly to the reputation of the resort.
