Historique
Un manoir existe en ce lieu aux 14e et 15e siècles. En 1858, la construction du château actuel est entreprise par l'architecte Jacques Mellet. De style mi gothique - mi Renaissance, l'édifice s'inspire des châteaux du Val de Loire. La porterie est construite en 1866. L'édifice présente un corps de bâtiment rectangulaire, encadré de deux tours octogonales rattachées latéralement par des corps plus étroits. Le corps principal est cantonné de tourelles en encorbellement, la travée de chaque façade étant marquée par un traitement décoratif privilégié. L'organisation intérieure du château est entièrement conservée, hormis un bureau du rez-de-chaussée transformé en cuisine. Le décor intérieur de style Louis XVI est bien conservé (sols, lambris, plafonds, cheminées...). Le parc paysager s'orne de statues. L'ancienne métairie est construite en pans de bois et terre, à la même époque que le château. Elle a été entièrement réaménagée intérieurement.

History
A manor existed on this site in the 14th and 15th centuries. In 1858, construction of the present castle was undertaken by the architect Jacques Mellet. Half Gothic - half Renaissance in style, the building draws inspiration from the châteaux of the Loire Valley. The gatehouse is constructed in 1866. The building presents a rectangular body flanked by two octagonal towers attached laterally by narrower sections. The main body is set with corbelled turrets, the bay of each façade being marked by privileged decorative treatment. The interior organisation of the castle is entirely preserved, except for a ground floor office transformed into a kitchen. The interior decoration in Louis XVI style is well preserved (floors, panelling, ceilings, fireplaces...). The landscape park is adorned with statues. The old farmhouse is constructed in timber framing and earth, at the same period as the castle. It has been completely reorganised internally.
