La "maison du Bailli" est intégrée aux remparts nord du village fortifié de Boussagues. Sa construction remonte pour partie au Moyen-âge et s'étend jusqu'au 16e s. Elle est longtemps propriété de la puissante famille des Dalichoux de Sénégra, barons et seigneurs de Boussagues, qui y logent leur bailli. Le dernier baron procède à une restauration intérieure au début du 19e s. puis, à la fin du siècle, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) hérite du bien. Sa famille y installe deux religieuses pour faire école aux enfants du village. La bâtisse est ensuite abandonnée pendant plusieurs décennies.

History
The "house of the Bailli" is integrated into the northern ramparts of the fortified village of Boussagues. Its construction dates in part to the Middle Ages and extends to the 16th century. It is long the property of the powerful family of the Dalichoux of Sénégra, barons and lords of Boussagues, who lodge their bailli there. The last baron carried out an interior restoration in the early 19th century, then at the end of the century, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) inherits the property. His family installs two nuns there to school the village children. The building is subsequently abandoned for several decades.
