Bien qu'il n'existe que peu de documents, le château est vraisemblablement une maison noble remontant au Moyen-Age. Il s'agit d'une demeure caractéristique de la deuxième moitié du 18ème siècle, avec un soubassement supportant un rez-de-chaussée surélevé et un comble en surcroît. Deux ailes basses lui ont été adjointes et sa partie centrale exhaussée au 19ème siècle afin de la nantir d'un pavillon dominant son élévation principale.

History
Although there are few documents, the château is presumably a noble house dating back to the Middle Ages. It is a dwelling characteristic of the second half of the 18th century, with a basement supporting a raised ground floor and a roof space above. Two low wings were added to it and its central part raised in the 19th century in order to provide it with a pavilion dominating its principal elevation.
