Le château actuel a été rebâti en 1861-1864 par l'architecte Pierre-Charles Brun, à l'emplacement du château médiéval entouré de douves. De grands bâtiments rectangulaires précèdent le château ainsi que des communs, des chais et un grand parc. L'édifice, construit sur deux niveaux, est flanqué de deux pavillons latéraux en saillie et couvert d'une toiture d'ardoise à brisis. Il est entouré des douves anciennes. Le domaine s'intègre dans le réseau des chenaux d'irrigation médocains qui traversent le domaine.

History
The present château was rebuilt in 1861-1864 by the architect Pierre-Charles Brun, on the site of the medieval château surrounded by moats. Large rectangular buildings precede the château as well as outbuildings, wine cellars and a large park. The building, constructed on two levels, is flanked by two projecting side pavilions and covered with a mansard slate roof. It is surrounded by the ancient moats. The estate is integrated into the network of Médocain irrigation channels which cross the estate.
