History
Of Romanesque origin, the church was remodelled in the 19th century. The original plan was a parallelogram terminated to the west by an apse which is circular on the exterior. Two aisles were added subsequently to the nave. The work of the 19th century was entrusted to several architects: Hosteing, Pierre Brun and Jean-Jules Mondet. The walls of the apse, vaulted with a cul-de-four, are provided with a double arcade which presents important decoration of figures, foliage and animals on the capitals, the imposts and the spandrels.
