Historique
Synagogue privée construite entre 1877 et 1879 par l'architecte Stanislas Ferrand pour le banquier Osiris Ifla. C'est un édifice de plan rectangulaire. Une petite annexe, composée de deux petits locaux de service, est adossée au pignon est. La porte d'entrée, percée dans un mur au pignon triangulaire, est surmontée d'une corniche. La partie haute du pignon présente une table rentrante cantonnée de deux pilastres supportant un entablement où s'appuient des tables de la Loi. De part et d'autre de la porte, sur les trumeaux, sont fixées deux autres tables de la Loi. A l'intérieur, l'arc de l'arche sainte est en plein cintre et retombe sur des chapiteaux éclectiques d'inspiration toscane et à décor de besants. L'arc porte à la clé, en saillie, les tables de la Loi avec les dix commandements.

History
Private synagogue built between 1877 and 1879 by the architect Stanislas Ferrand for the banker Osiris Ifla. It is a building of rectangular plan. A small annex, composed of two small service rooms, is set against the east gable. The entrance door, pierced in a wall with a triangular gable, is surmounted by a cornice. The upper part of the gable presents an inset table flanked by two pilasters supporting an entablature on which rest Tables of the Law. On either side of the door, on the tympana, two other Tables of the Law are fixed. Inside, the arch of the holy ark is round arch and falls back on eclectic capitals of Tuscan inspiration and decorated with besants. The arch bears at the keystone, in relief, the Tables of the Law with the ten commandments.
