Ceux-ci ont été identifiés comme étant les vestiges de la maison Seguin, étudiée en 1861 par Léo Drouyn. History
In 1993, during an archaeological study in the commune of La Réole, various architectural elements were found at 7 rue de Moussillac. These were identified as remains of the Seguin house, studied in 1861 by Léo Drouyn. Considered by him as one of the finest remains of civil architecture in the south of France, this building, which was believed to be entirely destroyed since the 19th century, can be dated to the late 12th century or the beginning of the 13th century.
