History
The church, of Romanesque foundation, retains from this period the walls of the first western bay of the nave and the corresponding interior supports. The church was remodelled in the 16th century: the flat chevet was raised, and two chapels were opened, forming a transept. The fortification of the church probably dates from this time. This fortification is partly preserved at the level of the nave, surmounted by crenellation. The present roof structure dates from the 19th century, as do the enlargement of the two side chapels to form true aisles, and the execution of the painted decoration of the choir.
