Historique
L'église appartint à l'abbaye de la Sauve jusqu'en 1742. L'édifice se termine par un chevet plat. Chapelles ajoutées et voûtées en arêtes aux 17e et 18e siècles. Choeur voûté sur croisées d'ogives. Au fond de la nef, tour ronde contenant l'escalier à vis conduisant au clocher. Des fenêtres flamboyantes ont remplacé les fenêtres romanes à l'époque où la voûte a été refaite sur croisées d'ogives. History
The church belonged to the abbey of la Sauve until 1742. The edifice terminates with a flat chevet. Chapels added and vaulted with groin vaults in the 17th and 18th centuries. Choir vaulted on rib vault crossings. At the far end of the nave, round tower containing the spiral staircase leading to the bell tower. Flamboyant windows replaced Romanesque windows at the time when the vault was remade on rib vault crossings. At the portal, the stone has been painted red. It is composed of five voussures and three columns on each side of arcatures ornamented with tores. Archivoltes sculpted with fan-shaped leaves and ornamented with animals whose tail in plume goes around the neck.
