Dernier vestige d'un prieuré fondé vers le milieu du 12e siècle par l'abbaye bénédictine de Saint Martial de Limoges, la chapelle était entourée d'un cimetière. Cet établissement, qui fonctionnait encore au 18e siècle, est vendu à la Révolution. La chapelle sert alors de chai et de grange jusque vers 1940. Restaurée et rendue au culte en 1947.

History
The last vestige of a priory founded around the middle of the 12th century by the Benedictine abbey of Saint Martial de Limoges, the chapel was surrounded by a cemetery. This establishment, which still functioned in the 18th century, was sold at the Revolution. The chapel then served as a wine store and barn until around 1940. Restored and returned to worship in 1947.
