Historique
La base polygonale à degrés est typique de la fin du 15e ou début 16e siècle. Elle porte, côté ouest, deux tibias entrecroisés sous une tête de mort sculptée au pied du fût. Le socle serait du 18e siècle, et le fût du début du 19e siècle. Outre le crâne, le fût porte, côtés nord et sud, des tibias entrecroisés ainsi que les instruments de la Passion ; côté ouest, deux lances croisées dont l'une avec l'éponge imbibée de vinaigre ; côté est, l'échelle, le sceptre de roseau, un fouet et la couronne d'épines. Le Christ est sculpté sur le côté ouest de la croix.

History
The polygonal base with steps is typical of the late 15th or early 16th century. It bears, on the west side, two crossed tibias beneath a sculpted death's head at the foot of the shaft. The base dates to the 18th century, and the shaft to the early 19th century. Besides the skull, the shaft bears, on the north and south sides, crossed tibias as well as the instruments of the Passion; on the west side, two crossed lances, one of them with the sponge soaked in vinegar; on the east side, the ladder, the reed sceptre, a whip and the crown of thorns. The Christ is sculpted on the west side of the cross.
