Historique
Eglise d'origine romane, présentant un plan composé d'une abside en cul de four précédée d'un choeur de deux travées voûté en berceau plein cintre et d'une nef voûtée d'arête. La travée qui précède le choeur, sensiblement carrée, supporte le clocher. A gauche de la travée du clocher s'ouvre une chapelle latérale construite au 15e siècle et, à l'est de cette chapelle se trouve une sacristie du 18e siècle, voûtée en arc de cloître. De la même époque date sans doute la transformation du portail. L'intérieur de l'abside et du choeur est décoré d'arcatures retombant sur des colonnes engagées et encadrant une série de fenêtres dont la forme primitive a été modifiée, hormis pour le mur latéral sud qui possède encore une fenêtre intacte. Au chevet, une surélévation a été réalisée pour servir de refuge. Un reste d'échauguette a l'angle sud-ouest de la nef confirme un aménagement défensif. Le portail latéral sud présente une riche ornementation. Une quadruple archivolte décorée d'entrelacs et de motifs variés entoure un tympan orné d'une scène de l'Apocalypse.

History
Church of Romanesque origin, presenting a plan composed of an apse in semi-dome preceded by a choir of two bays vaulted with a round arch barrel vault and a nave vaulted with a groin vault. The bay preceding the choir, approximately square, supports the bell tower. To the left of the bell tower bay opens a lateral chapel built in the 15th century and, to the east of this chapel is found a sacristy of the 18th century, vaulted with a cloister vault. From the same period probably dates the transformation of the portal. The interior of the apse and choir is decorated with arcatures resting on engaged columns and framing a series of windows whose primitive form has been modified, except for the south lateral wall which still possesses an intact window. At the chevet, an elevation was carried out to serve as a refuge. A remnant of an échauguette at the south-west angle of the nave confirms a defensive arrangement. The south lateral portal presents rich ornamentation. A quadruple archivolte decorated with interlace and varied motifs surrounds a tympanum ornamented with a scene of the Apocalypse.
