Demeure du 18e siècle (1760-1770) représentative des édifices construits sur les bords de la Garonne par les notables bordelais. Agrandissement des dépendances, remaniement du décor intérieur et création du parc à la fin du 19e siècle (1884-1886). Une grille en fer forgé ferme l'entrée de la cour d'honneur, encadrée par deux pavillons de jardinier du 18e siècle. Le château se compose d'un corps de logis d'un étage, en longueur, ayant en son centre un pavillon faisant faible saillie, encadré de pilastres plats et terminé par un fronton triangulaire. Le bâtiment repose sur des caves voûtées formant cuisines et dépendances.

History
Dwelling of the 18th century (1760-1770) representative of buildings constructed on the banks of the Garonne by Bordeaux notables. Enlargement of outbuildings, alteration of interior decoration and creation of the park at the end of the 19th century (1884-1886). A wrought-iron gate closes the entrance to the courtyard of honour, framed by two gardeners' pavilions of the 18th century. The château is composed of a main body with one storey, elongated, having at its centre a pavilion making slight projection, framed by flat pilasters and terminated by a triangular pediment. The building rests on vaulted cellars forming kitchens and outbuildings.
