Pour Sainte-Dode, on sait seulement que le 25 octobre 1899 un arrêté préfectoral autorise le pasteur évangéliste Edmond Huc à construire un temple. Le linteau de la porte sud donnant sur la route porte d'ailleurs la date de 1900. On ne connaît pas de nom d'architecte ni de maître d'oeuvre. Le temple a été désaffecté et cédé à la commune en 1982. Cette cession a donné lieu à un contentieux entre une association cultuelle et culturelle du temple, la société centrale d'Evangélisation et la commune de Sainte-Dode, l'association cultuelle revendiquant la propriété du temple et attaquant la cession faite par la société d'évangélisation. Elle a cependant été déboutée en cour de cassation le 23 mars 1988 et la propriété de la commune a été confirmée.
Description
Temple de plan rectangulaire, de construction soignée où la brique utilisée en chaînages mais aussi pour les encadrements des baies apporte un élément de bichromie et d'animation. C'est un édifice aux proportions modestes. L'ensemble est couverrt par un toit à deux pans en tuile mécanique.

History
For Sainte-Dode, it is known only that on 25 October 1899 a prefectural decree authorized the evangelical pastor Edmond Huc to build a temple. The lintel of the south door opening onto the road moreover bears the date 1900. No architect's name or master builder is known. The temple was decommissioned and transferred to the commune in 1982. This transfer gave rise to a dispute between a religious and cultural association of the temple, the Central Society of Evangelization, and the commune of Sainte-Dode, the religious association claiming ownership of the temple and attacking the transfer made by the Evangelization Society. It was however dismissed by the Court of Cassation on 23 March 1988 and the commune's ownership was confirmed.
Description
Temple of rectangular plan, of careful construction in which brick used in chains but also for the framings of openings brings an element of bichrome effect and animation. It is a building of modest proportions. The whole is covered by a roof with two slopes in mechanical tile.
