Présence d'un couvent de Cordeliers à Lectoure dès 1487. Vendue comme bien national à la Révolution, l'église fut rachetée par la commune pour y construire la maison d'arrêt en 1826 (elle subsistera jusqu'en 1926). L'architecture carcérale a été implantée dans l'ancienne église. Par la suite, la mairie y a installé une maison des jeunes.

History
Presence of a Cordelier convent in Lectoure from 1487 onwards. Sold as national property at the Revolution, the church was bought back by the commune to construct the house of detention there in 1826 (it would subsist until 1926). Prison architecture was implemented in the old church. Subsequently, the town hall installed a youth centre there.
