La villa fut édifiée, en 1884, pour Gabriel Estradère avec le concours de l'architecte Bernard Castex. La demeure fut bâtie dans la tradition Beaux-Arts de la fin du 19ème siècle et se distingue par l'abondance de son décor Néo-Renaissance. Après avoir été la résidence des princes de Monaco de 1915 à 1930, la villa fut annexée à l'hôtel Pyrénées-Palace puis vendue en copropriété.

The villa was built, in 1884, for Gabriel Estradère with the collaboration of the architect Bernard Castex. The dwelling was built in the Beaux-Arts tradition of the late 19th century and is distinguished by the abundance of its Neo-Renaissance decoration.
