Historique
Léglise caractéristique du Lauragais est un petit édifice rural dominé par la haute silhouette dun clocher-mur et entouré du cimetière communal. Construit au 16e siècle, restauré et voûté au 19e, lédifice se compose d'une nef unique avec chevet à pans. Les peintures murales sont réalisées en 1950 par François Bernadi, aidé par son jeune beau-frère le peintre Carlos Pradal. En 1996 la restauration effectuée par François Bernadi complète alors le décor de la nef et crée celui du porche. Lensemble illustre la légende de sainte Apollonie et divers épisodes de la vie du Christ sur fond de paysages du Lauragais.

History
The characteristic church of the Lauragais is a small rural building dominated by the high silhouette of a bell tower wall and surrounded by the communal cemetery. Built in the 16th century, restored and vaulted in the 19th, the building comprises a single nave with a chevet with segmented plan. The murals were executed in 1950 by François Bernadi, assisted by his young brother-in-law the painter Carlos Pradal. In 1996 the restoration carried out by François Bernadi completed the decoration of the nave and created that of the porch. The whole illustrates the legend of saint Apollonia and various episodes from the life of Christ against the background of Lauragais landscapes.
