Le pont n'est que peu postérieur à la construction du canal. Appauvri par la disparition de son enduit, il forme avec les maisons qui l'environnent, un site évocateur de la mémoire du Canal.

History
Bridge whose implementation is typical of 17th-century bridges, over the Canal. Discreet traces are found of reworking from 1890. Remarkable environment on the right bank by the row of houses parallel to the towpath, most of which appear to have been built at the same time. The bridge is only slightly later than the construction of the canal. Impoverished by the loss of its render, it forms with the houses which surround it, an evocative site of the memory of the Canal.
