Study campaigns conducted in 1989 and 1990 revealed a rectangular masonry enclosure with towers, gates, 'vallum' and ditch, whose specific characteristics allow it to be identified with the numerous military examples distributed along the frontiers of the Rhine and Danube. With its enclosure whose walls have been preserved, this camp ranks among the best-preserved military works in Europe.
