Historique
Eglise néo-gothique, dont la construction est antérieure aux théories établies par Viollet-le-Duc, et qui témoigne d'une période de flottement entre 1815 et 1835. L'inspiration néo-gothique est déjà largement vidée de son sens au profit d'une conception architecturale éclectique et libre de toute attache (projet de l'architecte local Bègue l'Aîné). A un plan ramassé dicté par l'exiguïté du terrain, correspond une façade élancée dominée par un clocher et où la rigueur de l'ordonnance se double d'une variété dans le choix et l'expression des éléments décoratifs. Les décors intérieurs ont été peints par Jules Beaufort en 1902.

History
Neo-Gothic church, whose construction predates the theories established by Viollet-le-Duc, and which testifies to a period of uncertainty between 1815 and 1835. The neo-Gothic inspiration is already largely emptied of its meaning in favour of an eclectic architectural conception and free from any attachment (project of local architect Bègue l'Aîné). A compact plan dictated by the narrowness of the site corresponds to a slender façade dominated by a bell tower and where the rigour of the arrangement is combined with variety in the choice and expression of decorative elements. The interior decorations were painted by Jules Beaufort in 1902.
