History
Seigneurial tower built by the Bermond d'Anduze family, lords of Sauve, vassals of the counts of Toulouse. Tower recovered by the abbey in 1243, when the family's possessions were confiscated by the king. The structure forms the corner of an island block and was to be part of the defensive system.
