Historique
La façade Renaissance de l'hôtel date du 16e siècle mais ce dernier semble bâti sur un édifice plus ancien. Cet hôtel aurait été construit en 1549 par Robert de Calvière. L'immeuble présente trois séquences de hauteur différentes. L'extrémité sud de cette façade, ainsi que son retour face à la mairie, ont été repris au 19e siècle. A l'intérieur, un décor plus ancien a été mis au jour. A l'opposé se trouve une sorte de tour. La partie centrale de cette façade montre une composition très soignée : demi croisée avec pilastres à chapiteaux corinthiens ; corniches moulurées et consoles ornées de feuillages à l'aplomb des pilastres. Plus à l'ouest se trouve une autre séquence de cet ensemble : pilastres doriques, colonnes engagées à chapiteaux corinthiens, ouvertures à meneaux, corniche à ressauts, consoles ouvragées. La maison possédait une cheminée Renaissance portée par deux cariatides, avec entablement orné de casques, cuirassés, faisceaux d'armes et canons montés sur quatre roues. Cette cheminée a été vendue.

History
The Renaissance façade of the hôtel dates from the 16th century but the latter appears to have been built over an older building. This hôtel would have been constructed in 1549 by Robert de Calvière. The building presents three sequences of different heights. The southern end of this façade, as well as its return facing the town hall, were reworked in the 19th century. Inside, older decoration was uncovered. Opposite is a sort of tower. The central part of this façade shows a very careful composition: half-cross with pilasters with Corinthian capitals; moulded cornices and consoles ornamented with foliage aligned with the pilasters. Further west is another sequence of this ensemble: Doric pilasters, engaged columns with Corinthian capitals, openings with mullions, cornice with projections, worked consoles. The house possessed a Renaissance fireplace borne by two caryatids, with entablature ornamented with helmets, cuirasses, bundles of arms and cannons mounted on four wheels. This fireplace was sold.
