Historique
Le domaine a été créé par Louis Prat, industriel marseillais, au moment de la lutte contre le phylloxéra. Il achète ce terrain pour y planter de la vigne. De nombreux mas y sont construits. Autour du château central se trouvent les chais et les bâtiments d'exploitation viticole. Le hameau comprend aussi les écuries et la remise de maître avec le logement des cochers, ainsi que les maisons des domestiques et des gardes-chasse, un four, une école, le château d'eau et la chapelle, située à l'écart du domaine. C'est une chapelle néo-romane de plan centré avec coupole à la croisée du transept, sans décor intérieur hormis les chapiteaux des colonnes et des vitraux signés E. History
The domain was created by Louis Prat, industrialist from Marseille, at the time of the struggle against phylloxera. He purchases this land to plant vineyards there. Numerous farmhouses are built there. Around the central château are found the wine cellars and the viticultural outbuilding structures. The hamlet also comprises the stables and the coach-house with the lodging of the coachmen, as well as the houses of the servants and gamekeepers, an oven, a school, the water tower and the chapel, situated away from the domain. It is a neo-Romanesque chapel of central plan with dome at the crossing of the transept, without interior decoration except for the capitals of the columns and stained glass windows signed E. Didron (1886), illustrating the life of saint Lazare. It is due to Henri Revoil or Auguste Véran.
