La façade de cette maison romane (linteau monolithe surmonté d'un arc de décharge ; petites baies géminées) porte une inscription dans le marbre qui relate le passage de Richelieu en 1642, ainsi que les armoiries de F. de Liviers. Le cardinal, se rendant au siège de Perpignan, passa la nuit dans le mas, malade. Son lit ne pouvant passer par la porte, une ouverture fut percée dans le mur de derrière.

History
The façade of this Romanesque house (monolithic lintel surmounted by a relieving arch; small twinned bays) bears an inscription in marble which relates the passage of Richelieu in 1642, as well as the arms of F. de Liviers. The cardinal, travelling to the siege of Perpignan, spent the night in the farmhouse, ill. His bed being unable to pass through the door, an opening was made in the rear wall.
