Historique
Placée sous le vocable de Saint-Albert le Grand à la fin du 16ème siècle, l'église est, à l'origine, très petite et rectangulaire puis est agrandie avec la construction d'une nef unique dont le choeur est rétréci, dans la tradition des églises baroques de Corse. La petite chapelle latérales sud voûtée est dédiée à Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire. Elle renferme des fresques en forme de roses datées de 1759. Un clocher adossé au vaisseau fut édifié en 1816 et achevé au 20ème siècle par un dôme ogival. L'église est reconstruite au 18ème siècle et dotée de décors peints attribuables à l'artiste Raffali. Ils témoignent du degré de finition artistique des édifices religieux ruraux en Corse-du-Sud.

History
Placed under the patronage of Saint Albert the Great at the end of the 16th century, the church is, originally, very small and rectangular and is then enlarged with the construction of a single nave whose choir is narrowed, in the tradition of Baroque churches in Corsica. The small southern lateral chapel with a vault is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. It contains frescoes in the shape of roses dated 1759. A bell tower set against the vessel was built in 1816 and completed in the 20th century by an ogival dome. The church is rebuilt in the 18th century and furnished with painted decorations attributable to artist Raffali. They testify to the degree of artistic finish of rural religious buildings in South Corsica.
