Il s'agit d'une grosse demeure pourvue de trois tourelles d'angles coiffées en poivrière, et caractéristique d'un certain type d'architecture domestique de la seconde moitié du 19ème siècle. L'intérieur renferme des décors peints réalisés par Jean-Baptiste Bassoul, notamment un vestibule de style Néo-Pompéien remarquable. La salle à manger de style Renaissance, le salon et la chambre de style Louis XV ainsi que le bureau Empire sont traditionnels des aménagements intérieurs des bâtisses du 19ème siècle. Il s'agit d'une des rares grandes maisons de notables de Corse à posséder cette apparence de « petit château ».

History
This is a large dwelling with three corner turrets topped with pepperpot roofs, characteristic of a certain type of domestic architecture from the second half of the 19th century. The interior contains painted decorations executed by Jean-Baptiste Bassoul, notably a remarkable vestibule in the Neo-Pompeian style. The dining room in Renaissance style, the salon and bedroom in Louis XV style as well as the Empire study are typical of the interior arrangements of 19th-century buildings. This is one of the rare large houses of notables in Corsica to possess this appearance of a "small château".
