La terrasse supérieure est dominée par une lanterne cylindrique dont le soubassement en métal est prolongé d'un abri pour la sirène de brume. En dépit de son apparente sobriété extérieure, il s'agit d'un ouvrage hors-norme au regard à la fois du soin apporté à sa construction, de ses dimensions, que de la qualité de son aménagement intérieur.

History
Put into service in October 1916, this lighthouse comprises a cylindrical tower inside which are organized six superposed rooms of rounded plan to which is added a basement. The upper terrace is dominated by a cylindrical lantern whose metal base is extended by a shelter for the fog siren.
