Historique
Ce rempart est constitué par un pan de muraille couronné de mâchicoulis formés par trois assises à ressauts latéraux en quart de rond. Il constitue le seul vestige archéologique rappelant les structures défensives anciennes de Morlaix du 15e siècle. Les remparts furent démantelés au cours des guerres de la Ligue (1594) , puis complètement détruits pendant le règne de Louis XIV.

History
This rampart is constituted by a section of wall crowned with machicolations formed by three courses with quarter-round lateral offsets. It constitutes the only archaeological vestige recalling the ancient defensive structures of Morlaix of the 15th century. The ramparts were dismantled during the Wars of the League (1594), then completely destroyed during the reign of Louis XIV.
