Fondée au 12e siècle, l'église de Brétigny, de plan rectangulaire, comprend une nef précédée d'un porche et chambre de charité, un choeur à chevet plat que prolonge une sacristie. Les maçonneries du 12e siècle ont été remaniées aux 17e et 18e siècles. Le clocher dôme situé à l'ouest de l'édifice date de cette même époque. History
Founded in the 12th century, the church of Brétigny, of rectangular plan, comprises a nave preceded by a porch and charity chamber, a choir with flat chevet that is extended by a sacristy. The masonry of the 12th century was reworked in the 17th and 18th centuries. The domed bell tower situated to the west of the building dates from this same period. The interior presents a coffered roof structure, rendered walls and a central retable. Restoration campaigns were undertaken at the end of the 19th century.
