Cette abbaye est la maison-mère dune prestigieuse congrégation dont le rôle fut primordial dans lhistoire religieuse et politique de lEurope médiévale. Cest au lieu-dit « la ferme Saint-Ruf », site dimplantation de labbaye, que subsistent quelques vestiges. Ainsi, un chapiteau corinthisant marque lemplacement du départ dune voûte sur croisée dogives. Il sagit du mur gouttereau du bas-côté sud de labbatiale, dernier vestige encore en élévation de cette dernière. Dans les élévations de la ferme, sont encore prises deux plaques cannelées et un décor orné de grecques en perspective.

History
This abbey is the mother house of a prestigious congregation whose role was paramount in the religious and political history of medieval Europe. It is at the locality known as "the Saint-Ruf farm", the site of the abbey's implantation, that some remains subsist. Thus, a Corinthianizing capital marks the location of the start of a rib vault. This is the guttering wall of the south aisle of the abbey church, the last remaining elevation of the latter. In the elevations of the farm, two fluted plaques and decoration adorned with perspective Greek key patterns are still incorporated.
