Historique
L'église primitive fut fondée en 1311 au pied du château fort. Elle fut rétablie après l'incendie de 1552. En 1773, la décision est prise de transférer l'église et le projet de Louis Beuque est réalisé de 1775 à 1785. L'église ne connut ensuite que l'adjonction d'un porche à sa façade en 1826. De plan basilical, elle présente une façade à corniche cintrée, précédée par un porche en portique. La tour du clocher et la sacristie accompagnent la travée droite du choeur qui se termine par une abside. La structure est celle d'une église halle à voûtes d'arêtes sur doubleaux. Des pilastres dans les collatéraux correspondent aux colonnes doriques du vaisseau central, qui entourent également le choeur.

History
The original church was founded in 1311 at the foot of the stronghold. It was restored after the fire of 1552. In 1773, the decision was made to transfer the church and the project by Louis Beuque was realised from 1775 to 1785. The church subsequently saw only the addition of a porch to its façade in 1826. Of basilical plan, it presents a façade with curved cornice, preceded by a portico porch. The bell tower and the sacristy accompany the straight bay of the choir which terminates in an apse. The structure is that of a hall church with groin vaults on transverse arches. Pilasters in the aisles correspond to the Doric columns of the central nave, which also surround the choir.
