L'église est implantée au centre du bourg, mais isolée dans un enclos de bâtiments et par une parcelle boisée, au sud, dont seul le clocher mur émerge. Le chevet orienté est d'origine romane. Le choeur est plus étroit que la nef. Celle-ci est de plan rectangulaire et fut reconstruite à la Renaissance. Le clocher ainsi que l'église et ses aménagements intérieurs ont fait l'objet de restaurations dans la seconde moitié du 19ème siècle.

History
The church is located at the centre of the town, but isolated within an enclosure of buildings and by a wooded plot, to the south, of which only the bell tower emerges. The oriented chevet is of Romanesque origin. The choir is narrower than the nave. The latter is of rectangular plan and was rebuilt in the Renaissance. The bell tower as well as the church and its interior arrangements were the subject of restorations in the second half of the 19th century.
