Le Radôme (64 mètres de diamètre et 50 mètres de hauteur) désigne l'ensemble constitué par l'antenne à cornet et réflecteur ainsi que l'enveloppe protectrice. L'antenne de 340 tonnes a été construite en 1962 dans le cadre d'un projet international de télécommunications par satellites (projet Relay). Il s'agissait de réaliser une antenne pouvant poursuivre et acquérir un satellite à défilement et permettre une retransmission de données en direct outre Atlantique (11 juillet 1962). En 1985, cette installation a cessé d'être utilisée.

The Radôme (64 metres in diameter and 50 metres in height) designates the assembly formed by the horn antenna and reflector as well as the protective envelope.
