Historique
Edifice rectangulaire avec clocher-mur, datant de la fin du 16e siècle et du début du 17e siècle, et restauré au 19e siècle. Le contrefort sud porte la date de 1575. Au campanile, percé de trois baies, est accolé un escalier cylindrique en pierre, couvert d'un dôme. Le campanile est surmonté d'une flèche octogone. Des mâchicoulis élargissent la plateforme terrasse. La façade sud, avec oculus, possède une entrée moulurée en forme d'accolade avec pinacle à fleurons en prolongement des piédroits. Maîtresse-vitre flamboyante. La chapelle était fréquentée par les fabriciens de Pleumeur. Les pèlerins vinrent demander la guérison de leurs membres malades à l'eau de la fontaine Saint-Samson, ou à la vertu de la croix placée près de la porte de la chapelle.

History
Rectangular edifice with a porch tower, dating from the late 16th century and early 17th century, and restored in the 19th century. The south buttress bears the date 1575. To the bell tower, pierced with three openings, is attached a cylindrical stone staircase, covered with a dome. The bell tower is surmounted by an octagonal spire. Machicolations enlarge the terrace platform. The south façade, with an oculus, has a moulded entrance in the form of an ogee arch with a pinnacle decorated with florets extending from the jambs. Flamboyant main window. The chapel was frequented by the churchwardens of Pleumeur. Pilgrims came to seek the healing of their sick limbs from the water of the Saint-Samson fountain, or from the virtue of the cross placed near the door of the chapel.
