Historique

History
The existence of a water mill on the right bank of the Jaudy depending on the seigneury of Troguéry is attested in a declaration of 1601. Already ruined at that time, the tidal mill known as Biliguen is entirely rebuilt in 1840. In 1841, a grain and flour warehouse is added to it. Its architecture is representative and its height adapted to a new manufacturing process using the gravity of grain and flour. Becoming Thomas Milling Works, it remains active until 1991. First mill of this type to have equipped itself with a turbine in replacement of the wheel (1903), it is equipped with a diesel engine in 1932 and electrified in 1938, but it has always preserved the energy of the tidal reflux as auxiliary energy. It is a museum of milling techniques since the 19th century: machines and dam could easily be restored to working order.
