History
Although long attributed to the 15th century based on the fact that bishop Barton de Montbas had ordered its reconstruction in 1486, the present building is older and cannot have reused elements from a church situated within the castle's fortifications. The two bays of the choir and the portal attest to architectural and decorative forms of the late 13th century. The south bay of the choir, with the same moulding as the bays of the south chapel, was reworked at the end of the 15th century during the construction campaign of this chapel. The north chapel can date from the 14th or 15th century. An important set of wall paintings covers the walls of the chevet.
