Le château succède au manoir disparu des anciens seigneurs du bourg. Edifié au 18e siècle, c'est un château de style classique avec avant-corps de très faible saillie sur chacune des façades principales. Les baies des avant-corps sont cintrées tandis que toutes les autres sont rectangulaires. Les deux niveaux sont séparés par un bandeau. Les frontons sont soulignés par une forte mouluration. Terrasse aménagée au 19e siècle. L'intérieur a été remanié au 19e siècle.

History
The château succeeds the disappeared manor of the former lords of the town. Built in the 18th century, it is a château of classical style with projecting sections of very slight projection on each of the main façades. The openings of the projecting sections are arched while all the others are rectangular. The two levels are separated by a band. The pediments are underlined by strong moulding. Terrace arranged in the 19th century. The interior was remodelled in the 19th century.
