Historique
La structure de l'hôtel repose sur un plan en U entourant une cour intérieure. Cet immeuble offre la particularité d'être un ensemble architectural plutôt hétérogène, composé d'éléments allant du 16ème au 19ème siècle. La façade donnant sur le jardin pourrait correspondre à la période Renaissance tandis que la façade sur la rue de l'Escale remonte au 17ème siècle ainsi que l'aile en fond de cour. L'extérieur du corps principal est en moellons crépis. Des gargouilles et autres éléments ornent les façades. A l'intérieur, l'escalier en pierre avec rampe en ferronnerie ainsi que le plafond peint d'une allégorie féminine datent du 18ème siècle. Il convient également de noter les remaniements intervenus lors des 19ème et 20ème siècles, notamment l'édification d'une petite aile sud-ouest. Enfin, il faut noter la subsistance d'éléments décoratifs de qualité tels des corniches, des boiseries, des parquets et autres cheminées.

History
The structure of the hotel rests on a U-shaped plan surrounding an interior courtyard. This building offers the particularity of being a rather heterogeneous architectural ensemble, composed of elements ranging from the 16th to the 19th century. The facade facing the garden could correspond to the Renaissance period whilst the facade on the rue de l'Escale dates back to the 17th century as does the wing at the back of the courtyard. The exterior of the main body is in rendered rubble stone. Gargoyles and other elements adorn the facades. Inside, the stone staircase with ironwork handrail as well as the ceiling painted with a female allegory date from the 18th century. It should also be noted the alterations which occurred during the 19th and 20th centuries, notably the construction of a small south-west wing. Finally, it should be noted the survival of decorative elements of quality such as cornices, woodwork, parquet floors and other fireplaces.
