History
Priory-cure dependent on the abbey of Saint-Romain-de-Blaye (33) since the 11th century, the original Romanesque church (12th century) was rebuilt in the 15th century and enlarged in the Renaissance. The predominant style of this church is the Gothic style (façade and choir lit up by vast stained-glass windows). Some work was carried out during the 18th century.
