L'église a probablement été construite au 12e siècle, servant alors de chapelle seigneuriale. De plan rectangulaire, elle est dotée d'une nef assez longue reconstruite sans doute après les guerres de Cent ans, au 15e siècle. En partie haute, un auvent recouvert d'ardoise abrite deux baies de campanile qui aurait remplacé le clocher abattu avant la Révolution. Une voûte d'ogives en plâtre construite en 1861 et qui recouvrait la nef, a laissé la place à la charpente du début du 17e siècle.

History
The church was probably built in the 12th century, then serving as a seignorial chapel. Of rectangular plan, it is provided with a fairly long nave rebuilt probably after the Hundred Years War, in the 15th century. In the upper part, an awning covered with slate shelters two openings of campanile bell which would have replaced the bell tower demolished before the Revolution. A rib vault in plaster built in 1861 which covered the nave, gave way to the roof structure from the beginning of the 17th century.
