Historique
Un hôpital répondant au vocable Saint-Julien existait déjà en 1440, hôpital restauré vers 1620. A la fin du 17e siècle, la gestion de cet hôpital est confiée aux religieux de la Charité pour soigner les troupes de Louis XIV (il passe sous l'invocation de Saint-Honoré à ce moment). Les religieux entreprennent des travaux dès la fin du 17e et pendant le 18e siècle : chapelle, sacristie, nouvelle salle de malades en 1696, réfectoire en 1715 et 1727, bâtiment central au nord en 1730, nouvelle chapelle lambrissée en 1765-1766 par le maçon Villeneau, nouvelle salle de malades au sud-ouest sur les plans de Bellecombe, réalisée par le maçon Habert en 1776-1780. Après le départ des religieux, l'hôpital devient civil, puis militaire, et est rendu aux habitants de la ville en l'an X. Restaurations effectuées tout au long du 19e siècle. History
A hospital dedicated to Saint-Julien already existed in 1440, hospital restored around 1620.
