L'architecte utilise le plan allongé avec clocher-porche en avant de l'édifice dont le premier étage s'ouvre sur la nef par l'intermédiaire d'une plateforme ménagée dans la première travée au-dessus d'un sas d'entrée. Le choeur est greffé sur la nef avec un volume en discontinuité avec elle. La construction de l'église s'achève en 1856. L'architecte fait cohabiter le style roman à l'extérieur et le style gothique à l'intérieur (voûtement). Paul Abadie s'implique également dans la réalisation de mobilier.

History
Neo-Romanesque project conceived in 1849 by Paul Abadie. The architect uses the elongated plan with porch tower in front of the building whose first storey opens onto the nave by means of a platform created in the first bay above an entrance vestibule. The choir is grafted onto the nave with a volume in discontinuity with it. The construction of the church is completed in 1856. The architect makes Romanesque style coexist on the exterior and Gothic style on the interior (vaulting). Paul Abadie is also involved in the creation of furnishings.
