Historique
Cette demeure du 19ème siècle est caractéristique des maisons de maître du Cantal. Le logis rectangulaire bâti en lave basaltique offre une façade dont les percements sont répartis sur deux niveaux en cinq travées. L'intérieur a subi peu de transformations, si l'on excepte la salle à manger réaménagée dans les années 1900 avec un décor en bois ciré. Le salon a conservé un exceptionnel papier peint panoramique en grisaille, dont le modèle « Scènes turques » est attribué à la manufacture Dufour. Le parc enclos entourant la maison renferme un petit bâtiment de communs, élevé vers 1900, abritant, dans sa partie centrale, clapier, chambre de domestiques et pigeonnier, et, dans ses deux parties latérales, l'étable et le poulailler.

History
This 19th-century dwelling is characteristic of the maître houses of Cantal. The rectangular main dwelling built in basaltic lava offers a façade whose openings are distributed over two levels in five bays. The interior has undergone few transformations, except for the dining room rearranged in the 1900s with waxed wood decoration. The salon has preserved an exceptional panoramic wallpaper in grisaille, whose model "Turkish Scenes" is attributed to the Dufour factory. The enclosed park surrounding the house contains a small outbuilding, raised around 1900, housing in its central part rabbit hutch, servants' room and dovecote, and in its two lateral parts, the stable and the henhouse.
