Historique
Au 12e siècle s'élevait un prieuré dépendant de l'abbaye d'Aurillac. De cette époque subsisteraient la crypte et des bases de piliers. Clocher-mur sans doute du 13e siècle. L'ensemble de l'édifice fut reconstruit à la fin du 14e siècle ou au début du 15e siècle. Décor intérieur refait en 1913. Eglise de style gothique méridional composée d'une nef surbaissée sur laquelle ouvrent six chapelles aujourd'hui communicantes, indépendantes avant le 19e siècle. Le choeur comporte un chevet polygonal précédé d'une longue travée. L'accès à la crypte s'effectue par une excavation cintrée située à la base du mur nord, dans la première travée de la nef. La nef, le choeur et les anciennes chapelles sont voûtés d'ogives. L'ensemble a été doté un décor néo-gothique (faux appareil, motifs au pochoir, lambris...).

History
In the 12th century stood a priory dependent on the abbey of Aurillac. From this period would remain the crypt and bases of pillars. Bell tower wall doubtless from the 13th century. The entire building was rebuilt at the end of the 14th century or the beginning of the 15th century. Interior décor redone in 1913. Church of southern Gothic style composed of a lowered nave onto which open six chapels today intercommunicating, independent before the 19th century. The choir features a polygonal chevet preceded by a long bay. Access to the crypt is effected by a rounded excavation located at the base of the north wall, in the first bay of the nave. The nave, choir and former chapels are vaulted with ribs. The whole has been given a neo-Gothic décor (false ashlar, stencilled motifs, wainscoting...).
